LOEK OUDEMAN

From his practice in Almere Oosterwold, Loek offers analysis (C.G. Jung), analytical therapy, coaching, and executive coaching. On location, he works as a coach for (management) teams and boards.

He works with clients from the business world, the fields of education and science, healthcare, and the arts. Additionally, he is a trainer and supervisor of coaches and analytically working therapists.

Loek Oudeman (1954) studied philosophy and theology in Brussels, Pasadena (California), and Nijmegen. He has worked his entire life with people and groups in developmental processes—initially as a theologian, but after his fortieth year as a coach and facilitator of development processes in organizations.

Characteristic of his approach is the focus on the development of the individual as the starting point and basis for the quality of interpersonal processes and personal well-being.

Since 2006, he has deepened his knowledge through study and training in the backgrounds and application of analytical psychology (C.G. Jung). He is particularly fascinated by its significance for the development of people in today's world, with the unique challenges that people feel confronted with today in their relationship to themselves, to others, and to our living environment.

He is currently in training to become an analyst at the Guild of Analytical Psychologists in London. Additionally, within the Coaching Academy International he founded, he trains professionals in the art of sustainably, developmentally, and meaningfully guiding others.

Loek is married and the father of seven adult children in a blended family. The question that always travels with him concerns the spirit of the times. What is happening at micro, meso, and macro levels, and what does it mean? What does today's world ask of humanity? What does today's world ask of me?

On the former seabed of the Zuiderzee, he lives with his wife in an ecological project that is never finished. In his spare time, he cultivates tomatoes and strawberries, collects modern art, and travels with his wife and dog in a van wherever the wind takes them.
